FAQs ABOUT FOREVER LIVING ALOE VERA DRINKS

How much should I drink?
This depends on your reasons for drinking Aloe Vera. As with other nutritional supplements, some people take a small amount each morning (60ml) to maintain their general well being. Other people boost their intake for specific reasons, when they might drink up to 180ml or more a day. The average is 120ml per day. Some people such as the elderly need less, whereas those who are larger framed need more. Conrad and I are drinking 30ml a day, the kids have the same amount and Bailey (our Tibetan Terrier) has about 20mls :-)  I've doubled up a couple of times and taken 30mls on an evening too when I felt like I was coming down with a cold. or felt a bit achey.

Can I mix it with anything else?
Yes, if you really don‘t like the taste, then try mixing it with pure fruit juice, cordial or honey. Pomesteen Power gives it an amazing taste! I mix ours with a fruit smoothie or apple juice. Aiyana drinks her Bits n Peaches neat (though Taran can't be persuaded to even try it unless it's in apple juice). Bailey has hers neat onto her biscuits or with rice krispies (!)

When is the best time to drink Aloe?
We would recommend you take Aloe Vera on an empty stomach to get the maximum benefit, and then wait 20 minutes before having anything else. First thing in the morning is good, or right before bed. It starts our day every day - what a positive start to the day!

When should I feel some benefits?
Every body is different - different diets, lifestyles, sleep patterns, levels of exercise, etc. A few people feel benefit in 2-4 weeks, but most take a little longer. We would encourage you to take Aloe Vera for a trial period of at least 2 months. I found that I had more energy after just over a week - Bailey is also behaving like a puppy again, she even chewed some of the kids toys today! My psoriasis has stopped itching and nearly gone (I have also used the Aloe propolis cream on this too). The biggest surprise is that I have not wanted and chocolate, cakes, biscuits or sweets!
Taken internally, Forever’s Aloe Vera drinks provide the essential building blocks for the body to cleanse, restore, protect and balance itself. For this reason, once the body has cleansed and restored itself to a state of well-being, it is important to take a daily maintenance dosage in order for the body to continue to cleanse and balance itself on an ongoing basis. Unfortunately, many people who receive benefits then stop taking it and, when their bodies return to the previous state of toxicity and imbalance, they say that Aloe Vera did not 'cure' their condition. It is essential to realise that unless you significantly change your life-style, diet and exercise regime, etc, you must continue to supplement your systems with Aloe Vera for the needed additional vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids that will assist in maintaining your balanced state of well-being.

How should I store the drink?
As with most natural foods, once you‘ve opened the bottle, it should be stored in the fridge with the lid tightly closed. Of course during storage, the natural pulp will settle, so you should always shake the bottle before use. (Please note that the date stamped on the bottom of the container is the bottling date. The 'use by' date is on the lid)

Are there any side-effects?
There are occasionally some mild detox symptoms the first time people start drinking Aloe Vera. Some people have noticed a slight headache, a rumbly tummy or a change in their bowel movements for 2 or 3 days, having a couple of spots come up. Nothing particularly dramatic, but we want you to be aware of them in case you happen to experience anything like this.

What are the main ingredients of forever freedom?
In addition to stabilised Aloe Vera Gel, 120mls serving of Forever Freedom contains: 1500mg Glucosamine, 1200mg Chondroitin, 720mg MSM and 250mg of Vitamin C. This is the drink Conrad and I take, a difference was felt after about 6 weeks.

Is Aloe Vera Gel safe to take during pregnancy?
It is perfectly safe for people trying to conceive, currently pregnant or breastfeeding to take our Aloe Vera Gel, which has many benefits. It can help keep constipation at bay, it can assist the body by providing and helping assimilate the vitamins, minerals and amino acids necessary for good health in the mother and baby. It can ease morning sickness, lower blood pressure and stabilise hormonal upsets. It can help fight bladder and urinary infections and can kill Candida bacteria, which causes thrush in pregnant women and breast-fed babies.
Other supplements such as Bee Pollen
, Royal Jelly, B12 Plus, Absorbant-C and Artic-Sea Omega-3 will also help to provide the body with a rich source of vitamins and minerals which are essential during and after pregnancy. Aloe Vera Gelly rubbed into the skin can help with problem skin, veins, piles and avoid stretch marks.
