Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage Diploma Course

The Thai foot massage is a popular choice for therapists, reflexologists and complete beginners. This course is based on the Traditional Thai foot massage using Thai foot sticks to stimulate reflex points and includes a therapeutic massage to the legs and feet.

This traditional technique dates back over 2000 years and is still practiced by Buddhist monks today. Elements of the course include working on ‘Sen’ lines from the Ayurvedic tradition, these are the equivalent of the Chinese Meridian or energy lines. These reflex points are stimulated using the stick, the course also includes foot wrapping techniques.

This course is open to complete beginners or existing therapists, no previous massage experience required to attend.

Thai foot massage is as much in demand as reflexology, so a great therapy for a beginner or an existing massage therapist to learn.

Once you have completed the 1 day course and gained your diploma, you will be able to obtain insurance. This will enable you to practice on the general public and charge for your therapy. If you have considered training in reflexology but were concerned about RSI or painful thumbs then this course is ideal. It is a popular alternative, as this technique uses a Thai stick instead of thumbs and can achieve similar results for your client.

Please note you do not have to be a reflexologist or a therapist to take this course it is open to complete beginners without previous experience.
